Organisations who promote accountability are more successful and more productive. This course gives workplace leaders techniques for promoting accountability in their organisation, starting with themselves.

An article in the March 11, 2010 edition of TIME magazine purported to explain “why we have entered the post-trust era.” Indeed, we seem to be in a time where people act inappropriately and then refuse to take responsibility for their actions. Who can we blame for the world economic crisis, the issues in the Catholic Church, or the state of the environment? More to the point, why do we spend so much time and energy looking to pin the blame on someone (usually anyone but ourselves)?

With this in mind, it’s no wonder that organisations who promote accountability are more successful and more productive. In this one-day workshop, you will learn about what accountability is, how to promote it in your organisation, and how to become more accountable to yourself and others.

Employee accountability is really about delegation. When you trust and support people to do what’s assigned to them, workplace accountability can become much easier, although it might still take a lot of work!

At the end of their training, participants will have learned how to be personally accountable; be able to understand the cycle of accountability; learn how to set goals, give and receive feedback without deflecting criticism; and how to delegate effectively in order to develop staff accountability.

Don’t let your workplace be slowed down by an inability to be accountable! Improving employee accountability means working faster, better, and with less barriers.
